Ruby (She/Her) is a designer, artist, and technologist. She is particularly fascinated with complex sociotechnical systems. Her art practice explores emergent digital phenomena and interactions between identity, digital community and the technical and social systems that govern them. Her work also touches on her experiences as a gay trans woman. She creates works that make people think about how we define identities, and how technology can affect those definitions. Through code, she explores what can emerge from randomness, mathematics, intention, and aesthetics.
