Yangos Hadjiyannis
Yangos Hadjiyannis is a creative director, experientialist, and mentor with a focus in shaping the present and future of public XR-empowered experiences. He has successfully delivered 250 collaborative digital media projects with multi-talented teams, gaining recognition for his innovative work at the intersection of humans and immersion.
From 2018 onward, he played a pivotal role in advancing the SIGGRAPH VR Theater as its creative director and chair, presenting over 20,000 XR experiences to the SIGGRAPH audience.
He is currently driven to create meaningful bridges between physical and virtual spaces to collectively inspire and transport audiences on voyages between realities.
His latest work includes notable projects across various industry, government, and cultural sectors, including CannesXR, New Images Festival, Alliance Francaise’s V-Unframed, Shakespeare @ the VAG, and many others. Yangos is a graduate of the acclaimed masters of digital media program awarded conjointly by four prestigious Universities: UBC, SFU, BCIT, and Emily Carr University, in Vancouver, Canada.
