S.C. Vollmer is a neurodiverse artist-researcher and technologist working across extended reality (XR), haptics, and human-AI co-creation. S.C. builds embodied interaction systems – gesture, sound, touch, and adaptive agents – that make thinking and sensing shareable across bodies and environments. Their current research-creation (including several XR-AI-IoT projects, and specifically “VR_ECOLOGY”) explores prosthetic media: technologies that extend perception and collaboration rather than “fix” individuals. Grounded in disability-led design and ProTactile perspectives, S.C. reframes ability as relational and emergent. S.C. is founder of KDF Entertainment Inc. and a PhD researcher at York University in Toronto, Canada.
