Competitions

The ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Committee co-sponsors an annual, international digital arts student competition with the International Symposium on Electronic Arts. The intent is to involve students in the SIGGRAPH and ISEA communities of artists.

SIGGRAPH Conferences

The DAC maintains an active presence at annual SIGGRAPH conferences. In 2024, the ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Community conducted eight digital art-related sessions in the ACM SIGGRAPH Village. The session, Remembering Roman Verostko, honored the life of one of our past Distinguished Artist Award winners.

At the conference, DAC showcased exhibitions and other works, including partnerships with ISEA2024, Night Lights Denver, and the Denver Theater District. Also premiering at the conference was the online exhibition, The Future of Reality.
