Halbe Hessel Kuipers holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Amsterdam, thesis supervised by Prof. Patricia Pisters and Prof. Erin Manning. Having worked a lifetime in the experimental laboratory for research-creation at SenseLab, Kuipers served as editor of the journal Inflexions and worked on its radical pedagogy project on neurodiversity. Kuipers’ first book, A Cinematic Mode of Existence, will soon appear at Bloomsbury.
