Leon-Etienne Kühr (Offenbach, Germany) is a media artist and computer scientist working with methods from artificial intelligence, information visualization, and data science. His practice investigates algorithmic processes, focusing on the internal dynamics of generative models and the patterns that emerge within these systems. By treating technological systems as material for artistic inquiry, his work explores the aesthetics embedded in generative AI processes. He is a research associate and co-director of the AI Lab at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. He previously studied Media Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and Bauhaus University Weimar.
