Adam Wright is a doctoral student working with Patrick LeMieux, Finn Brunton, Stephanie Boluk, and Kris Fallon on mixed reality at UC Davis. Adam creates alternative perception systems with extended reality, haptic, and artificial intelligence technologies as a way of examining mediated human perception through embodied interfaces. Adam’s history includes professional roles and practices in media and mediation: musician, visual artist, television producer, software developer, and user experience / user interface designer. His journey has taken through Tisch School for the Arts at New York University, Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, BBC White City in London, Comcast’s G4 Network in Los Angeles, and the founding of Digg.com in San Francisco.
