Adrianne Wortzel is an American artist based in New York. She has exhibited her work for over six decades at venues including the Asheville Art Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, Ars Electronica, Moderna Museet-Stockholm, Creative Time, the Cooper Union and MIT Visual List Center. Her awards include the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art, the Greenwall Foundation; the New York State Council on the Arts; the Science and Art Research Collaborations for Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories, PSC-CUNY Research Foundation, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and a National Science Foundation Award for robotics and theater. Her work has been collected by the Morgan Library and Museum, Harvard Library, Duke University David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Pratt Institute Artists’ Books Collection and MIT Distinctive Collections. Wortzel received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Brooklyn College and an MFA in Computer Arts from The School of Visual Arts.
