Artist, researcher, curator, and composer. He studied at the Faculty of Music in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM); now he is part of the Master’s degree in fine arts at the Postgraduate Program in Arts and Design (UNAM). He has had six solo exhibitions and has participated in collective exhibitions in several cities in Asia, Europe, and America. As a researcher, he worked at the Scientific Visualization Lab and the Virtual Reality Observatory Ixtli (UNAM); he is founder of the SEMIMUTICAS Research Seminar in Music, Mathematics, and Computer Studies, Independencia BioLab (biohacker space based in Mexico City), the Mathematics Visualization and Sonification Laboratory, and the Sensory Experimentation Laboratory. Now he is an associate researcher at the Center for Complexity Sciences and has several international publications in editorials such as Cambridge Scholars, Springer-Verlag, Taylor & Francis, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Siglo XXI, and the Mexican Mathematical Society.
