Linh Dao

Linh Dao is an interaction designer and educator whose creative and scholarly work explores the intersection between identity discourses and the development and implementation of creative and emerging technology. Her research interests include emigration, immigration, and migration, as well as minority equality and accessibility. Her work has been shown at Ars Electronica, the Institute for Art and Innovation in Berlin, The American Institute of Graphic Arts Design Conference, and the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology at Connecticut College. Her list of clients includes the American Cancer Society, Nonprofit New York, the National Institute for Early Education Research at Ruger University, the New York Historic District Council, and the LGBT+ Historical Society Museum in San Francisco. In addition to being awarded by UCDA, Indigo Design Award, Graphic Design USA, and Creative Quarterly Design, her work has also been published by the Design Research Society, International Association of Societies of Design Research, and The American Institute of Graphic Arts. She is currently an assistant professor at California Polytechnic State University.
