Soh Yeong Roh, the founding director of Art Center Nabi, Korea’s first media art institution, is a seminal figure in new media art in Korea. She has organised numerous significant media art exhibitions and milestone events since 2000; Telematic Event (2000), P.Art.y (2007), Come Join Us, Mr. Orwell! (2009), Robot Party (2015), ISEA2019 Lux Aeterna (2019), Play on AI (2020), East Meets East: Han Ma Eum One Day Conference (2022). Roh also served as the general director of ISEA2019 in Gwangju.
