Yin Bing is a Chinese multimedia artist and researcher based between Hangzhou and Hong Kong. He holds a PhD in Information Art & Design from Tsinghua University. Working under the framework of Expanded Animation, he creates moving-image installations, immersive VR experiences, and Concrete Animation works that treat animation as a spatial and embodied event—an orchestration of light, sound, screens, and devices that shapes how images are perceived. In recent projects, he incorporates computational imaging techniques such as neural volumetric reconstruction, photogrammetry, and LiDAR.

His work has been presented at art-and-technology platforms including SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, IEEE VR, and exhibited internationally at the Zagreb Animation Festival and the Busan International Film Festival.
