Zhang Leyan’s works explore the relationship between humans and technology. She has a strong interest in the application of big data, and in her works, she attempts to awaken people’s thinking about the impact of big data collection in daily life, and alert them to maintain their focus on freedom and morality while enjoying convenience. She is passionate about exploring new artistic media and technological tools, and applying them to creative practice. She is currently a second year graduate student majoring in Art and Technology at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in digital media
during her undergraduate studies.
