A Happy Mennn (AHM) is an interdisciplinary multimedia artist trio and research group formed by Anqi Liu, Han Zhang, and Mingyong Cheng. AHM’s works address the lived experiences of immigrant Asian women artists building careers, practicing, and living in the West through the use of technology, sound, and free improvisation performing arts.

Anqi Liu is a music composer, sound artist, interdisciplinary/multimedia artist, photographer, and filmmaker, currently an assistant professor at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.

Han Zhang is a multimedia artist, computer musician, performer, and engineer, and a PhD candidate in Computational Music at UC San Diego.

Mingyong Cheng is a new/digital media artist, interdisciplinary visual artist, creative technologist, and an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
