Sawyer Feng is a New York–based digital artist and creative technologist working across 3D animation, moving image, interactive media, and installation. She holds an MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a BA in Art and Technology from China Academy of Art. Through surreal and speculative narratives, her work explores identity, gender, family, and transformation, connecting intimate experiences to broader cultural structures. Rather than treating technology as an end in itself, she uses it as a narrative language, combining cinematic world-building, character, sound, and experimental digital processes. Her projects move between independent art, music, fashion, and immersive experiences, with particular interest in how bodies and identities are constructed within visual worlds. Her practice also extends beyond the screen through 3D-printed wearable objects and spatial installations, exploring how digital forms acquire new emotional and symbolic meanings when they encounter the physical body.
