Water Beings stages autonomous digital cells in a self-perpetuating cycle: seven chromatic generations, each spawned on contact by the last, from green through pink, whose collisions regenerate green and renew the loop.

As the population approaches environmental carrying capacity, cells exhaust virtual resources and space, dying off. Their remnants sediment into the environment, altering its topology and inhibiting growth until the population subsides and a new cycle begins.

Staging the fragile intersection between complex social life and systemic collapse, the work dissolves the boundary between digital ghost and physical body.
