Tracy Chunxi Liu is a PhD student in the Computational Media, Arts & Cultures PhD Program at Duke University. As a transdisciplinary researcher and multimedia artist, she explores the intersections of art, science, philosophy, media studies, and cultural studies. Her practice moves across installation, bioart, video, digital art, performance, photography, and painting. She approaches her artworks as ongoing processes rather than definitive endpoints—open forms that continue to evolve through engagement, reflection, and experience. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others and awaken a deeper sense of empathy toward one another, other beings, and the natural world.

Her work has been exhibited in Hong Kong and in cities across the United States and has been featured by leading Hong Kong art media. Her research and writing on artistic practice have also been published on various academic platforms.
