Fangting is a researcher and writer, head of the research section of a blockchain nonprofit [UnCommons](https://twitter.com/Un__commons), and one of the first affiate researchers or the “Summer of Protocols” sponsored by the Ethereum Foundation, completing a piece of work related to blockchain and AI-related design fiction piece. In the blockchain space, she is primarily interested in the social impact that Ethereum can have as a protocol layer. Fangting received her BA from Peking University, where she focused on science fiction literature. She also has a year of RA experience at Stanford University’s Department of Communication.
