Gustavo Guzmán (MA, BA, PGDip, PGCert) is a composer, artist, and researcher. He has composed for film, video, dance, theater, radio and toured across Latin America. Recent works include collaborations with Grupo
Hipertrópico (2026), and selected works for exhibition in venues such as ISEA 2026, “Onda Expansiva” and “10 Ecologías Digitales”. His scholarly work has been presented for the symposiums “Echoes of a Distance” (McGill, 2021) on collaborative artistic production during COVID; “Transferencias Aurales” (UNAM, 2024) on AI for the Global South; and NIME London (2026) on gestural approaches to musicking and situated uses for deep learning deployments, among others.
