Mohumagadi Moruti
Mohumagadi Moruti is an emerging curator, researcher, and writer with a background in computing and an ongoing pursuit of an M.A. in media arts cultures at Danube University Krems. Her research explores the ontology of technology and cultural narratives, ideologies, and metaphors embedded in technological artifacts. She has been actively involved in curatorial and collaborative projects with artists within and outside Southern Africa and Europe through the Botswana National Gallery, Aalborg University, and various private galleries. Her work mirrors a dynamic combination of interests in art, science, religion, the human condition, and technology. She served at SIGGRAPH 2023 Art Gallery as Subcommittee and Jury member.
As the SIGGRAPH 2024 Art Gallery Co-Chair, Mohu is responsible for the outreach, submission process, and implementation of an exhibit of innovative, high-quality, fine art and/or design produced using computer graphics and interactive techniques.
