Rose Ansari is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist and creative technologist whose research-based practice explores the intersections of technology, the human body, perception, and post-human futures. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Alzahra University of Tehran and her MFA in Art & Technology / Sound Practices from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she was also an affiliated researcher and fellow at the University of Chicago. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Media, Arts & Cultures at Duke University.

Working across technology, immersive environments, sound, light, and experimental media, Ansari investigates cyborg and post-human theories, artificial intelligence, augmentation, distortion, sensory experience, and the relationship between human and non-human entities. Her practice integrates technology, cognitive science, and poetry to explore perception, the unconscious, and the complexities of contemporary technological life. She creates systems both within and around the body, examining how technological mediation can transform experiences of embodiment, identity, communication, and space. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
