Weihao Qiu

Weihao is a doctoral candidate in the Media Arts and Technology (MAT) program, focusing his research on enhancing the modularity, customizability, and interactivity of Generative AI tools. His aim is to amplify the diversity, expressiveness, and engagement of AI-driven art. Weihao’s scholarly contributions are recognized at prestigious forums, including the Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), and the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA). His innovative work has been showcased in various esteemed venues, such as the Beijing Times Art Museum, FeraFile, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation (MOXI), SIGGRAPH, and the UCSB MAT End of Year Shows, demonstrating his commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI in the artistic and technological domains.
