Siou Ming Wu is a sound and digital media artist. His interdisciplinary practice explores the relationships between sound, memory, landscape, technology, and contemporary forms of urban and environmental experience. Working across sound art, interactive media, generative systems, web-based artworks, and audiovisual installation, Wu often develops his own computational systems as part of the artistic process. Rather than treating technology as a neutral tool, he investigates how technical systems shape perception, memory, and the ways people encounter their surroundings.

His work has been presented internationally in exhibitions, festivals, and digital art contexts, including Science Gallery Monterrey, where “Stream of Consciousness Photobooth” was selected for the 2025 “CONSCIOUSNESS” exhibition. His practice has also been recognized through international exhibitions and awards in Europe and Asia, and he has presented research and creative work in contexts associated with ACM SIGGRAPH and new media art.
