Traveling Show
Description:
Once a popular mode of transportation in the U.S, trains have fallen out of favor. They are largely ignored or perhaps deemed a temporary nuisance as we must wait for them to go by before we may continue on in our cars. Yet many have become traveling art exhibitions as train cars marked by graffiti artists are painted, repainted, coupled, shuffled, and recoupled again. These otherwise unremarkable trains have emerged as a democratized canvas and outdoor exhibition space, traveling nationally and viewed by large audiences.
