This year’s SIGGRAPH Art Gallery, themed Connecting Nature, Art, and Technology, invites us to explore the profound and multifaceted relationships between humans, nature, and technology. Art Papers

Art Papers offer a space for critical reflection and creative inquiry into emerging technologies and their cultural impacts. This year’s theme, The Future of Reality: Post-Truths, Digital Twins, and Doppelgängers, explores how artists and thinkers are responding to blurred boundaries between physical and virtual space, generative design, and AI’s challenge to agency, authenticity, and authority.

Computer Animation Festival

SIGGRAPH’s Computer Animation Festival is an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival, awarded to the “Best in Show” short film. Its screening of the Electronic Theater and Animation Theater are widely recognized as celebrating storytelling in computer animation, VFX, advertising, cinematics, real-time graphics, and scientific visualization. Submit to this esteemed festival that champions excellence in short-form filmmaking.

Real-Time Live!

Immersive Pavilion

The Immersive Pavilion at SIGGRAPH 2025 is where human and technological realities meet, activating immersive, multi-sensory experiences. This year’s Pavilion highlights outstanding work in VR, AR, MR, and beyond, fostering critical discourse on the latest interactive breakthroughs and hybrid environments.

Rebecca Ruige Xu

Rebecca Ruige Xu, a professor of computer art at Syracuse University, explores the synergy between AI, data visualization, experimental animation, and interactive media. Xu’s work has appeared at venues including SIGGRAPH & SIGGRAPH Asia Art Gallery; ISEA; Ars Electronica; IEEE VIS Arts Program; Museum of Contemporary Art, Italy; Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, etc. Xu is the co-founder of the ChinaVIS Arts Program, Co-Chair of the IEEE VIS 2023 and 2024 Arts Program, and currently serves as Chair of the ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Committee.
